High Purity
Nodular Pig Iron, also known as S.G. Pig Iron is used as a high purity furnace charge addition, primarily for the production of Ductile Irons.
Contains low levels of deleterious trace elements enabling consistent production of ferritic grades.
A low Sulphur content helps to maximise the recovery of Magnesium during the nodularisation process.
Ultra high purity grades are available for production of 400/18 and other specialised grades of castings.
