Foundry Pig Iron, also known as Haematite Pig iron is used as a furnace charge addition primarily for the production of Flake / Grey Cast Irons.
Contains useful levels of Manganese, Sulphur and Phosphorus.
High levels of Carbon and Silicon ensure a low melting point for reduced melting costs.
